A Legacy of Growth and Achievement

Albertus Magnus College was founded in 1925 by the Dominican Sisters of Saint Mary of the Springs, who are now known as the Dominican Sisters of Peace, to establish a women’s college. In 1985, Albertus became a co-ed institution providing both men and women a liberal arts-based education.

Since its founding, Albertus Magnus College has committed itself to nurturing strong, capable women who make a positive impact in their communities and careers. The Centennial Celebration honors this rich history and the countless individuals who have shaped the College’s lasting legacy. It’s a moment not only to reflect on the past, but to look ahead to a future filled with opportunity, innovation, and success.
